The first questions asked by most of our new customers are:
"How long does it take to dry?" and "Does it remove all the stains?"
Both questions are impossible to answer.
A carpet pile or upholstery fabric made from wool will take longer to dry
than a carpet pile or upholstery fabric made from a synthetic fibre.
A soft drink stain that occurred yesterday will be more likely to lift
than a coffee stain that is a year old.
What we can say though is that our drying times are measured in just a
few hours and that there are very few stains that defeat us.
The Survey
An initial survey of the carpet or upholstery will be undertaken to determine the structure and materials used in the carpet and upholstery. This is a very important part of the process. Once the survey has been carried out any spots/stains will be identified. The technician will be able to discuss with you, the customer, the possible outcome of heavily soiled areas and stain removal.
An inspection of the fixing of the carpet at its edges and the
condition of the seams is then carried out and any weak or
damaged seams are pointed out to you and remedial work
arranged before work starts.
Deep Cleaning Procedure
The main method of carpet cleaning and upholstery that we employ
is hot water extraction (sometimes called steam clean).
The area to be cleaned is first thoroughly vacuumed then treated
with an appropriate pre-spray cleaning agent and then thoroughly
rinsed with the Extraction Machine, leaving your carpets and
upholstery clean and fresh.
Our machinery is a “state of the art” which is both quiet and
very powerful, usually, with no noisy machine in your home.
Finishing & Drying
Our drying times are measured in just a few hours
with our Quick Dry System.
Stain protection treatment can then be applied so your
Carpets & Upholstery can stay cleaner for longer.
Prices
Prices are worked out per sq. ft. and areas that do not need to be cleaned
will not be charged for.
